Is your old wooden, sheet metal, or plastic storage shed rotting, rusting, or collapsing? Our veteran-led team will tear it down, clear out the old junk inside, and haul all the debris away.
Safe & Efficient Demolition
An old, decaying backyard shed is not only an eyesore but can become home to snakes, rodents, and insects. Tearing one down yourself requires specialized tools, safety gear, and a way to transport hundreds of pounds of debris. At Moore County Junk Removal, we handle the entire process from start to finish.
We serve residential properties throughout Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Whispering Pines, and Seven Lakes. Our crew uses professional tools to safely dismantle the walls, roof, and foundation without damaging your lawns, trees, or surrounding fencing.
Is the shed still full of old lawnmowers, paint cans, tools, and scrap wood? No problem. We provide a complete "cleanout + demolition" combo. We sort and haul away the stored junk before we begin taking down the structure.
Our Capabilities
We dismantle and saw apart rotting timber structures, wood panels, roofing shingles, and pressure-treated wood joists.
We take apart sheet metal panels, steel frames, and aluminum siding. All metals are hauled directly to recycling yards.
We disassemble interlocking vinyl and plastic structures (like lifetime or suncast sheds) and haul away the components.
Simple Process
Take a few photos of the shed (inside and outside) and text them to us. We will provide an estimated pricing range.
Our veteran-led crew arrives with safety equipment, tears down the structure, and loads the lumber or metal onto our trailers.
We rake up nail debris, wood splinters, and sweep the concrete slab or ground site clean, leaving a safe yard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our standard pricing includes the demolition and hauling of the wooden, metal, or plastic structure itself. Demolition and removal of concrete slab foundations require heavy equipment (jackhammers, bobcats) and is priced separately as a custom quote. Let us know if you need the slab removed!
In most Moore County municipalities (including Pinehurst and Southern Pines), permits are not required for removing detached accessory structures under a certain square footage (typically 120β200 sq ft). However, if your property is subject to strict HOA guidelines (e.g. Pinehurst or Whispering Pines), please double-check their notifications beforehand.
Any metals from structural posts, roofing, or siding are sorted and recycled. Scrap wood is taken to the Moore County landfill or local biomass processors. Any salvageable tools or hardware are cleaned and donated.
